Ewan out of interest have you ever driven a Fulvia ?Nippy, yes. But still slow.
Whereas the Alpine can crack a sub 4 second 0-60.
Overall, the Alpine is cheaper than its equivalent Porsche, as well as being lighter, faster, and more fun. But still the masses buy Caymans instead. It baffles me.
The Alpine is still heavier and slower than my Westfield though. A car that makes the Fulvia sound 150kg overweight and 150bhp underpowered!
They really are a Special little Car that was a WRC Winner that cost more than a Jaguar Etype new.
I have a lot of love for them as my father was involved with the Jolly Club in the 60's and 70's.
Either way you've convinced me and I'm having a poverty spec Alpine.
