What have you done to your Maserati today?

Back from business travel just in time for a 75 F sunny day in Seattle! Had to take the Spyder out for several completely unnecessary errands. Pulled back in at the golden hour before sunset , afternoon well spent.

Looks lovely. What did you do to resolve the sticky button issue?

Thanks
There’s a guy on here called Andy4200 and he sells the emblem stickers at a very reasonable price, so I took the buttons back to white with white spirit and then give them a couple of coats of Matt black. So much better without them horrible sticky buttons. Mine got bad when the heater matrix started leaking.
Here’s mine, someone with more skill than me can probably do a better job but I’m happy.

Well, this is a right fiddly little fecker. But, after an hour of twisting, bending, head-scratching and inventing some premium compound swear-words, I got the old one out and the new one in. Only to find that the new one is 20mm taller than the old one and the top restraining strap won't fit. So it's back to Eurocarparts I go. Hi-ho hi-bloody-ho.

Hmph again. Eurocarparts not only don't have the correct size but can't find any record of a battery that is the correct size. I took the old one in so we could line 'em up.

Luckily, a main dealer mate can help out, but it's a schlep across to where he is. As he commented, the wrong-side battery isn't likely to go anywhere... but don't roll it.

Le Mans is in 4 weeks.

They'd need to do a lot of dismantling to find it. The battery's under some foam under a shelf behind the seats. Still, you make a valid point. I'll get a main dealer fitted one and take the Bosch one back to Eurocarparts.

Shame, I had a reasonable feeling of satisfaction after all that faff.
