Cleaned out the car today and found a memory stuck trapped under the seat rails.

Was hoping it was going to be full of something exciting like a list of all the Russian agents operating in the UK, but sadly it was some sort of Garmin file on it. Any ideas if it is an update or if it is of any use - if so, what do I do with it?

99.99% certain it'll work but need another car to test on.

You need to downgrade the CTP version. I'll grab the instructions to get to that screen a bit later

I’ve ordered the same one. Is it formatted? I’ve not idea what FAT is when it arrives I’ll then drag the above files onto the drive on my Mac correct?

Yes, but we'll need to change, that. It stands for File Allocation Table, but I can talk you though that. Yes pop them on your desktop or something
