I have had various “exotic” cars all of which have needed up with completely flat batteries at one stage or another and all have been rescued with a ctech. My Strad is happy o be left on the drive u used for 2-3 weeks with no issue but I tend to put on the trickle if I am leaving any longer...

I know what you mean, it’s been rainy since 8am here, I managed to get mine done on Wednesday and put a cover on, but it will still need some tlc in the morning as the cover leaks and leaves dirty marks.

I am heading from the same direction, junc 11 will be fine. In my experience Google maps to the Brooklands Museum takes you to the Campbell Gate but just in case (51.3524524, -0.4594010) - there will be a queue whatever time you arrive.

Well that was a wasted morning - good job I could work from the waiting room. So calibration failed, Jaguar are saying they will have to have the car back to remove and refit the windscreen and try again. What a complete pain in the proverbial :mad:

Not a patch on last year though, when most of us got burnt to a crisp o_O

These darn cars are full of safety and driving assist features. There is a camera that looks through the screen that controls some of these and they need calibration after a windscreen change. Personally I would rather not have the features !! but am stuck with them and without calibration the...

Dropped the XJ off at Jaguar dealership to see if they can sort the “recalibration” following a recent windscreen replacement. Auto windscreens first fitted an none OEM screen and calibration failed, went back 3 week late for them to swap that out for an OEM screen but calibration still failed...

Remember when we used to make our our fun, no video games back in the day :cool:
