I’ve got a GB50 and it lives in the car now. Bought it after Matt used one to save us when the alarm drained everything in Italy.
Up to 7l petrol and 4.5l diesel supposedly. Been used a few times on a variety of cars so would definitely recommend. Unfortunately not been able to test the 7l...
Double checked mot history and my mom’s mini did 53 one year and that wasn’t a particularly close mot garage either. I suspect it did more going in and out of the garage to make way for the lawnmower than actual road travel!
At least with this part it’s chicken with money rather than being stranded.
I’ll add it to the funds awaiting the inevitable clutch change! Plenty of life last time it was checked but it is the original…
We have an old TT that plays this game too, the roof stops working for a few months and...
Car is back to being used every 3-4 days and since the regen all seems well. Making sure every journey includes some Italian tune up time just in case ;)
I just ticked over 50k miles, so I’m pretty sure all future miles are depreciation free because it’s already tanked! I’ve done around 26k in four years and no plans to let up. :auto20:
I think a few of us have said the stamps themselves are quite meaningless, the invoices for the actual work tell you much more. Would you be bothered buying the car at x years old? Other than the ‘set’ being incomplete.
No nothing about it specifically, but to me that's a lot of red flags. Light panel damage that meant the bumper and bonnet got replaced? Wrap. Basically not moved it's entire life at 3500 miles. I think your budget will give you a good selection to choose from - and I wouldn't include this one!
Strangely one of the comparison sites claimed to have no insurers who would take the GT, for any amount of money... I forget which, possibly confused (me and the site), I didn’t bother trying again to see if it was just a glitch
